Overview

These terms apply when you buy a product, request a mural, or request a commission through courtneyedwardsart.com. By placing an order or submitting a request, you agree to these terms.

Products & Availability

Original paintings are one-of-a-kind -- once an original sells, it is no longer available. Prints, stickers, and other made-to-order items are produced by our print partners after you order, so production and transit time varies by item; see the FAQ for typical timelines.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars. Payment is collected securely through Stripe at checkout. You do not need an account to buy -- guest checkout is available for every product on the site.

Accounts

You may create an account to track orders, save favorites, keep a payment method on file, and leave reviews. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure -- please tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to it. You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account that is being used fraudulently or in a way that harms other customers or the site.

Murals & Commissions

Murals and custom commissions are quoted individually after an inquiry through the Murals or Commissions page. Booked projects are confirmed with a written proposal, a deposit schedule, and (for murals) a living working agreement available at /agreement. The terms of that agreement govern the specific project once it is booked.

Shipping

We ship to the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam. Shipping timelines depend on whether an item ships from stock or is produced to order -- see the FAQ for current estimates. Risk of loss passes to the carrier once a package is shipped; contact us right away if a package arrives damaged or does not arrive.

Cancellations & Returns

Because original artwork and commissions are one-of-a-kind or made specifically for you, they are final sale once work has begun, except where the item arrives damaged or materially not as described. Made-to-order prints and stickers follow the same standard: contact us within a reasonable time of delivery about any defect or shipping issue and we will make it right.

We do not offer a general change-of-mind return window. This section, together with the FAQ, is the authoritative statement of our return policy -- no other channel, including the support chat, grants a broader right of return. If you have been told otherwise, contact us and we will sort it out with you directly.

Reviews & Other Content You Submit

If you leave a product review or send us photos, notes, or reference material, you keep ownership of what you submit and you give us permission to display it on the site in connection with the product or project it relates to. Please only submit content you have the right to share. Reviews are moderated: we may decline or remove a submission that is off-topic, abusive, misleading, or not tied to a real order. Declining a review does not affect your order, your refund rights, or your ability to contact support.

Customer Support Chat

The support chat is answered by an AI assistant, and it can be wrong. It is there for general guidance -- shipping timelines, how commissions work, where to find something -- and nothing it says changes these terms, the price you were charged, or the return policy above. For anything binding, including order changes, refunds, and mural or commission scope, rely on written confirmation from us by email or on the signed project agreement.

Intellectual Property

Courtney Edwards retains copyright and all reproduction rights to every design, painting, and mural. Purchasing a physical print, sticker, product, or an original piece does not transfer the right to reproduce, resell as a design, or create derivative works from the artwork.

Limitation of Liability

Courtney Edwards Art is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of a purchased product or from a commissioned or mural project, beyond the amount paid for that product or project.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Puerto Rico, consistent with the governing-law terms in our mural and commission agreements.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the shop grows. Meaningful changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
